FRY WORDS (First to Fifth 100 Words) Printable Materials Part I

Teacher Tools for Remedial Reading are available here at Creative Guro.

The Fry word list, also known as "instant words," is widely accepted to contain the most frequently used words in reading and writing. The sight word list is divided into ten levels, which are subsequently subdivided into twenty-five-word groups based on the frequency of use and difficulty.

In order to improve their reading fluency, young readers must be able to detect these high-frequency words by sight. It is also critical for readers to practice vocabulary in meaningful contexts by reading phrases and sentences. Students might try composing short sentences with Fry terms as a follow-up task.

Because they must be memorized by sight, high-frequency words (HFW) are also known as sight words. This is due to the fact that many HFWs cannot be heard out. These words should be learned a couple of times and revisited until the youngster can effortlessly read, write, and spell them.

Below are the Fry Words Reading Materials that are ready to print in your classroom or for personal use.
